Please note that the following prices are subject to change, and are only valid for bookings one month in advance. Last minute bookings may be subject to an extra charge.

Vertical Frontiers Booking Process

  1. Contact us to confirm your suitability for a trip and to confirm dates/availability

  2. You can pay a deposit on a scheduled trip, the full balance is due six weeks before the trip starts. For a private trip we will send you an invoice with payment details.

  3. Each participant must read our terms and conditions and then fill in a medical form here.

  4. We then confirm your place on the trip. Meeting details and final logistics are sent out ten days before your trip.

Off Piste Skiing and Ski Touring Prices:

Ski Touring and Off Piste skiing on standard routes

Valley based ski touring and lift accessed skiing… more detail here. Prices exclude lift passes and avalanche equipment hire.

  • 1:1 guiding: 550€/day
  • 1:2 guiding: 575€ /day
  • Groups of 3: 600€ / day
  • Groups of 4: 625€ / day
  • Groups of five: 650€ / day
  • Groups of Six: 675€ / day

Vallee Blanche prices reflect our off piste prices above, as we will take you skiing on some classic Chamonix off-piste if the Vallee Blanche isn’t in suitable condition on your scheduled ski day.

Long Ski Tours, Ski Mountaineering and intermediate/advanced Off Piste skiing

Including hut to hut ski tours, on private trips.

  • 1:1 guiding: 600€ /day
  • 1:2 guiding: 650€ /day
  • Groups of 3 – 4: 700€ /day
  • Larger groups – contact us for a quote.

Prices include guiding fees and transport within the Chamonix valley. You will need to cover your lift pass, accommodation and gear hire etc.

Scheduled ski touring trips:

Deposits:

A 50% deposit per day is required to secure your place on a course. If you are booking within one month of the course, we require full payment.

Before you send us your deposit or course fee please fill in our booking form, and have a quick read of our Terms and Conditions which include our cancellation policy, bad weather policy’s etc.

Mountaineering and Rock Climbing Prices:

Rock Climbing – South-West England including Dartmoor, North Devon and Dorset:

  • Individuals or groups of two: £250/day
  • Groups of 3-4: £300
  • Groups up to six: £350
  • For courses at Portland, Swanage, North Devon and West Cornwall please add £30/day to the above prices.

We will provide you with a quote for your intended alpine trip, which details likely expenses etc.

For Chamonix based guiding on standard mountaineering routes:

  • 1:1 guiding: 550€ /day
  • 1:2 guiding: 575€ /day
  • 1:3 guiding: 600€ /day
  • 1:4 guiding: 650€ /day

Grand courses – longer and committing routes:

Routes of a serious nature, at altitude or difficult grades. Typically guided 1:1 are charged depending on the route, but normally 650€ – 850€ for the day.

• Depending on the trip, you can enquire about your preferred dates (so we can confirm suitability and availability) or book online with a deposit (with the balance due six weeks before departure).

• Each participant reads our Terms & Conditions and completes a short medical form (sent by email).

• Once confirmed, final meeting details and logistics are sent out ten days before your trip.
